So if you read this at all, please comment. If you think it's funny, stupid, whatever. I just want to know if anyone reads this!

Mullet Mania

So when I was looking for a picture of a lady with a mullet for my last post, I found this great site, http://www.mulletjunky.com/. If you love making fun of mullets, this is the site for you. I was laughing my ass off, and feeling slightly nauseated, too. Ah, mullets. Hilarious.

What's the deal with Marie Osmond?

So I'm usually "making" dinner (heating something up) and washing dishes at 6:30, and I don't want to do it in silence, so I listen to Entertainment Tonight. For some reason, that show is obsessed with Marie Osmond. She's always on with her Dancing With the Stars predictions or some nonsense. Why?? She's so wierd and cheesy. Hello, she was big in the 70's. And that nut job has a show in Vegas. I so don't get it. And the dolls!!!! OMG!! These are so creepy! The Baby Donny one is hands down the creepiest. Check it out.

Top 5 Comedies of 2008

Here's my list of the funniest movies of the year:

1: Tropic Thunder

2: Don't Mess With the Zohan

3: Stepbrothers

4: Meet Bill *

5: Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Honorable Mention: Role Models, because I haven't seen it yet. I'm sure it merits a ranking in this list.

* I'm betting you haven't heard of this one. Go rent it. It's laugh-out-loud funny and just a great movie.

Veteran's Day

Does anyone else think it's wierd that our country chooses to honor our veterans by holding sales? I mean, we have a national holiday, but unlike Memorial Day, not many people are off. Schools, banks, and post offiices are closed. So if you are a veteran and work in one of those 3 professions, enjoy your day off. But if you do anything else, keep working. Why do we only make a big deal about the soldiers who die, but not the ones who just, you know, risked their lives? My dad never gets his day to be off and be remembered. Why have a holiday if we're just going to put sheets and towels on sale? It just cheapens the meaning.

To further elaborate on the scarf thing, I'll refer you to this extremely funny passage from one of my favorite blogs. Please enjoy.

So not for me

So there are some things that are really popular right now that I just don't understand. I don't get Americans most of the time. Here are some trends that get on my nerves.

* Scarves.
Why? Why do people feel the need to wear scarves indoors? How can that be confortable? And especially with tank tops. That one really gets me. If it's hot enough to wear a tank top, you so don't need a scarf.

* Vampires.
I've never been into vampires. The only one that is cool is Count Chocula. So what's the deal
with this Twilight nonsense? Books, tv shows, a movie......weird. I guess I just like my guys to
be of the live variety.

*Black nail polish.
Still? Really? I soo thought this was a last-year trend, but it just keeps going. Augh! So gross.
Again with the vampire shit.

*Rihanna.
Granted, she is pretty. But her "talent" is questionable at best and she wears black nail polish
on a daily basis. I really don't understand her amazing popularity.

Hey--you guys got any plans for this weekend? I want to go shopping for some black nail polish,
scarves, and the latest Twilight book so I'm prepared for the Rianna concert!
